Hi,

I am not sure whether this is the right place to report the issue - I searched the bugzilla, but I haven't found the components - so I am reporting here. The latest update few days ago brings new versions of maptool and navit, but the packages seems corrupted, the update transaction fails:

# apt-get upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree

The following packages have been kept back:
libeet1
The following packages will be upgraded:
maptool navit navit-data navit-graphics-gtk-drawing-area navit-gui-gtk
navit-gui-internal
6 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.

E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?

I tried:
# apt-get clean
# apt-get update
# apt-get upgrade

but it didn't help.

It is.

But better would be to contact the developer to reupload latest version once again (please remind to increase version number).

As it looks like he uploaded two versions too fast.
First one was not through autobuilder and somehow sizes got mixed up between first and second upload (I guess as this happened to me, too).

maptool 0.5.0+dfsg.1-1maemo1~6534 Fremantle Extras-devel free armel Old version cleaned by repository management System 2016-02-04 01:33 UTC
maptool 0.5.0+dfsg.1-1maemo1-6563 Fremantle Extras-devel free armel Package imported System 2016-02-03 21:27 UTC

Developer replied that the build wasn't done by him, but by the 'tryagain' user. I am trying to reach him through the #navit freenode channel to rebuild the packages.

Unfortunately I was still unsuccessful in contacting original builder ('tryagain' user from navit community). I have tried direct mail to known contact, IRC (I have noticed there are more users trying to report the same problem through the IRC Freenode #navit channel), but nobody replied. So if there is anybody who could remove the defective packages from the repo or rebuilt them, me (and probably other users) would appreciate it.

Navit defective build 6563 has been removed.

Last working build is 6534.

Concerning tryagain contribution, it is welcome ...if properly managed.

@tryagain

Thanks to xes it should now be ppssible to just reupload.
Please keep in mind to not upload two versions too fast in a row. Due to 'autobuilder/maemo-repos architecture' you should wait for the package to appear in extras-devel before uploading a new version (even if you recognized a small bug and fixed it in a second). Else we might run into such trouble again.
Thanks for your contribution.
