There are already plenty of packages ported in unofficial community repository. DOSBox is included and it is working fine for me on N950. See the full package list:

More information (including how to enable this repository on your device):

Sorry for the confusion. The package WAS there. I also cannot find it right now in the repo. Anyway I happen to have a local copy of the deb in my backup. You can grab it from http://www.mediafire.com/file/p9v72r...emo4_armel.deb

Thanks, but I'm afraid that DOSBOX won't be of much use to N9 users since we don't have the N950 or N900's Hardware Keyboard.

It'll be like running DosBox back on the N800..... difficult at best.

Has anyone tried playing oldschool games via DosBox on her/his N9? Things like the settlers (first game did run on my SE Xperia X1 with WinMo allready) or Anno 1602?

I think this is one application where a resistive screen would be an advantage. I wonder if EasyDebian would be as useable on an N9 for the same reason.

what are the modifications made in the dosbox.conf file in order to get it running?

So far I added a drive letter (and folder), disabled sound emulation and switched fullscreen off. Anyway I am not having any keyboard visible (my old device had a physical keyboard...) so no operations are possible right now. what else is missing?

BTW has anyone tried a Bluetooth keyboard with dosbox?
