I have a new n800 and it won't see any Wifi connection either inside or out.
I have a connection with BEll here in Cincy(Zoomtown). It's static and I set the modem to mixed mode of b/g. Channel is 1.
Everything is working ok elsewhere on this line.
My Mac I'm on I installed a USB WIFI dongle, and it works of course. I'm using it to post.
Even my old 770 with OS 2007HE sees my WIFI.
But the n800 sees not one damn connection at all!
Mind you it was set on R&D mode. Maybe there is a fix?
Does R&D mode disable WIFI?
I've tried everything.
I just want to get WIFI back. If not maybe this thing can be a PMP then IDK. Please someone tell me something!

Try to open "coonections" and delete all connections and then set up again to see if that helps. It happened to me in the past!

Did not know why....

Tried this and even set it manually and on reboot it seems to try and WSOD the device! Yes it gets to the Nokia logo with hands and is just a white screen now that I set it manually to my WIFI. Woah! I think the WIFI antenae onboard is bad.
