It unlocks when the screen is unlocked while its connected to WLAN.

Signals I use:
/com/nokia/mce/signal:tklock_mode_ind
/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/platform_slide:PropertyModified
/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/platform_kb_lock:PropertyModified

Plans for 0.3.0:
  • Disable automatic lock and unlock, when connected to trusted network
  • Enable automatic lock, when disconnected from trusted network
  • Add support for 2g/3g connections

I had 0.2.0 which was really slow.
No I have updated to 0.2.1 and that is fast enough. Very good, indeed! Good work.

Uploaded new version (0.3.0) to repositories which is a lot faster and has couple new features which were requested You can find more information in the original post.

Please vote so we can get this to extras repository.

what do you mean with:
lock instantly when disconnected?
+ just lock the phone when disconnected?
lock when detached from charger
+ does this means, when you charge your phone, it won't lock?
show notifications?
I don't get this one.

Forgot to add one depency. You can fix it by installing python-conic yourself or wait for me to fix one other thing and upload the fixed version to extras-devel.

Those labels suck Does anyone have any ideas for better ones which fit in to the boxes also in portrait mode?

Anyway, if you enable "lock instantly when disconnected" it will lock the phone instantly and enable autolock, instead of only enabling the autolock.

And, if you enable the "lock when detached from charger" it will lock the phone instantly when you disconnect your phone from charger, if it hasn't automatically locked before (it won't disable the autolock while charging, because that would be pretty big safety issue).

many thanks!


how about the same functionality but instead ot the "trusted network" concept, could it please inlcude "trusted apps" too? e.g. navigation app? the phone currently locks itself automatically even whilst on navigation app with navigation mode on...
