Hi all,

Does anybody know whether there is a way to identify the installed firmware variant on the Nokia N9?

Thanks!

Go into your settings menu and go to 'about product'. It will appear under the version tab

Thanks! but what I'm looking for is a way to identify which of the different firmware variant (from the navifirm's list) of version PR1.1 is installed in my handset. Thanks.

You need to use the info provided by regtheledge & DarkSkies for the firmware version, plus you can find the product code on the back of the sim tray, eg mine is 059L498.

between the firmware version and the product code you should be able to figure it out, though be aware that your firmware isn't necessarily listed on navifirm, for example mine is for the 10.2011.34.1 (PR1.0) is there but isn't there still for 20.2011.40.4 or 20.2011.44.2, not all carriers like to do actual work for their customers.

PS that didn't stop me updating to PR1.1

Thanks! Do you know whether it's possible to identify the firmware variant that is actually installed on the device, using information provided by the firmware files?
