(I love the fact I can switch my phone to silent mode while in meeting or conversation without having to pull it out. In meetings it is contagious when one starts everyone dose it and it kills the tone in the situation.)
- Ability to operate the phone and MP3 player with gloves on.
- Quick contact lookup by initials (maybe n900 will come through)
- Google maps (its slow but it is all I need - I don't have a data plan)
- Voice Dial

What I get with the n900
- Multitasking, record meeting audio while taking notes.
- WiFi and real web drowsing - and all that comes with it.
- Media assess through the device -v- through the PC onto the device.
- SSH + RDP
- Bigger screen for entertainment (+ Video Out)
- GPS and Map's
- A camera and video recorder that takes acceptable photos.
- A computer!
Thank you Tim! I really appreciate your "what I will miss" and "what I will get." Really great!

I have used a Htc TyTn 2 the last 2 years and i loved it..
Flashed it 50 times and did a lot of fun things...

Like install W.I.M.P ...

Where is my phone..

If i ever did want to know what my girlfriend was up to i just send a sms to her WM phone with W.I.M.P and i got a sms back with her GPS cordinates without her knowing it

But i just feel that WM is just to left behind in the dust and its time for me to move on

You're obviously a "super user" in WM terms, flashing etc. Some more thoughts about what makes you feel that WM is left behind in the dust? Instability? Slow? What is it that attracts you to the N900 - what will it enable you to do that you can't in WM?

PDA's - Psion Revo, HP ipaq 4150, Loox 720, Xperia X1, i8910, N900

Phones Nokia 5110, Nokia 6110, Nokia 6310i, Nokia 8200, Nokia N80, Nokia E50, Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 (3 Months), Samsung Omnia HD i8910 (3 Months), Nokia N900

Yes, the list is a bit double. Some devices double as a PDA in my opinion and some don't. Besides these devices, I've played around with many others too.

Still long for the perfection of my Psion Revo, what great devices that where..... hoping the N900 can relive some of it's greatniss!
