Hi, I'm new to the N9 after years of n900 use and having imported my version from china I have asian firmware on the device. (I like in the UK). I have attempted to add an extra line into my repo list in order to install the facebook/skype plugins. I have added the correct line (my line showed .003 instead of .001) however i mispelt a line before this so whenever i tried to use
#apt-get update
I now recieve an error message
"malformed line 4 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/aegis/ssu-keyring-003.list.d"
My question is how do i remove the corrupted line. I have been told to install nano but cannot because it will not let me download anything using the xterm or store. Please help as this is very frustrating.

Okay, first post here for me, but aren't you able to use the built in vi editor?

"vi ./whateverfile"

Cheers! Hope you fix your N9.

Thank you, managed to solve the problem with your help and the vi tutorial on here. N9 is now sorted. Absolutely delighted after 3 days of pulling my hair out trying to resolve this.
