Can you make the status bar auto-hide when not in use?

I agree, a few more details on some of the tweaks would be nice, loving it so far, especially disabling wifi powersaving!

Thanks for the feedback but i am not currently developing n9tweak anymore. I might take it up again if i get time but right now family and work take up too much time for me.

Same question here. It disappeared after upgrading to 1.3.
I re-installed, but it doesn't appear to work anymore.

(I''m just trying to mod my statusbar clock format)

Hei, thats a pity. i was wondering: is the source code available somewhere?

I have no clue as the N950 will not get PR1.3 so i have no way of testing it... but as i said a couple of posts back. It is open-source and who ever want can take over the management.. or just use code-snips.

It is at https://gitorious.org/n9tweak/n9tweak which is also good for those who just like to view the code.

I am not sure if PR1.3 have changed anything Paoletto but if not you would be able to do that by..

On
Code:
sed -i 's/brightness-als/brightness-simple/' /etc/mce/mce.ini
Off
Code:
sed -i 's/brightness-simple/brightness-als/' /etc/mce/mce.ini
Make sure to me logged in with root while doing that.. if you misspell anything the risk is pretty high that you would end up in reboot loop. So take backup before.

Taviman, since AlMehdi is not going to be actively maintaining N9Tweak, I recommend you download N9 Quick Tweak, which is being actively developed and has the exact tweak that you need. Just go to http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=80600 and download N9 Quick Tweak. Then, select tweak Y (after you create back-up with Tweak K) and you should be all set.

FYI, some of the tweaks in AlMehdi's N9Tweak v0.2_6.1 work on PR 1.3. I know this because I still use the extra-large virtual keyboard from this version, and I run PR 1.3. I do not know which tweaks from this version are still effective, but I do know that N9 Quick Tweak has versions that are specifically compatible with PR 1.2 or PR 1.3, so you can take your pick.

Good luck.

Hi AlMehdi
Can you explain please how to restore this tweak to default:

Code:
# Force wifi powersave off

		echo ""
		echo " This will run a loop every minute"
		echo " and keep wifi powersave off."
		echo ""
		echo " This is very power hungry."
		echo ""
		read -p "Press enter to start (ctrl+c to end): " ANS
		read -p "Password: " -s PASSWORD
		echo ""
		echo $PASSWORD | devel-su -c "develsh -c 'while true;
		do
			date \"+%T\"
			/sbin/iwconfig wlan0 power off
			count=0
			while [ \$count -le 5 ];
			do
				/usr/bin/bmestat|sed -n '/current/p'
				/sbin/iwlist wlan0 power
				sleep 10
				count=\$((count+1))
			done
		done'" >/dev/null
		read -p "Now power save will continue as default" end
	;;
Thanks
