Not exactly sure why, but my cam seems to be taking some pretty rubbish shots at the mo

But here's 3 of the better ones:

An elephant pretending to be a tree.

The water powered clock on the pier in my home town.

An evening shot from my window.

Unexpected guests, creating a lot of buzz in the back yard

Hey do you guys think it is my camera, or the fw? I keep getting really grainy pics

My n95's camera pics were crisp and clear, even at night, not that much noise.

Just to make sure: have you configure the camera to take pictures at maximum quality?

Couple of things.
- Try to avoid low light conditions and flash (This advice applies to almost all pocket cams)
- Shutter button has two steps (as all proper cameras. Keep hands still or try to find something solid that helps to keep camera still)
- Fool around with camera settings and learn to choose proper settings in different conditions.

It would be really good if someone had time to write guide about what kind of settings are good in different environments and light conditions.
