I have done all that have told in this site but none worked just let me list it
1. Restarting the device after couple of minutes
2. Removing battery
3. Installed eyes widget and it always looks left
4. Installed AccDisplay application it shows
x=0.01
y=0.01
z=0.01
5.Installed Attitude application and it just spin round and round
6.Installed HealthCheck application(4.3mb) and it shut down itself when opened
I installed other Healthcheck application also(443kb) and it just dont show any values in its respective axis!!

7.Flashed the device fully

I just need to know that if I install nitdroid on N900 emmc will the accelerometer problem end
If yes then how
plz read this thread and some one plz answer!!

Isn't it possible that your accelerometer is faulty?

My N900 is just 5 months old I have never dropped it so how can it become faulty and the problem started just a week before!!
hope someone knows!!

Try installing "liqacceltests, see what results you get then.

I installed the liqacceltests and it just shows 0 value in all the test I mean no results

I just want to know will installing Android solve my problem have anyone done it
My phone is new so dont want to risk it so just asking the community scholars!!
As before this I just brick my Iphone and now it dont work like it did earlier !!

Software doesn't magically repair hardware that has become broken, so doubtful.

No, android or maemo or meego or whatever will not solve a hardware issue, and given all the things you've tried, a hardware issue is what you have.

Take it to Nokia.
