I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested.
But I have put in my google drive ...
well...
prolly the largest most complete collection of skins there may be.

I believe it is pretty much every winamp2 skin ever released excepting a couple for sure..perfectly compat. with winamp2, oscp, audacious and xmms.

As far as winamp3 and winamp5 skins well I don't think it's all of the officially released ones...still...not bad eh?

This is THE treasure trove of skins...tons for everyone...enough even to glut the most jaded who needs a "new" or "different" skin every 5 minutes to get his or her amp-fix.

All in genre subfolders .
some are for winamp3 some for winamp5.
but there are thousands and thousands for winamp2, oscp, audacious and xmms.
it's about 1.2 gb hehe
I'm not sure how long I'll have it available ... a week... possibly a month.
Depends on how many want this I guess.

here is the google drive link to the rar.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5q...ew?usp=sharing

Update: Weeellll I just checked the link...and it works but naturally the size is too large for google to virus scan.
But if it helps any.
I always do a triple check of files before I upload them.
And I do daily scans of my system so I'm always confident it is always pristine and uncompromised.
So if it helps any...You have my word the files are clean.
If of course my word means anything to you or holds any value of moral currency with you ...that is.
Of course don't take my word for it.
Download it, sandbox it, and scan it if you wish to feel more comfy.
Or don't download it

s'up to you.

um, is there a way to download them as a single zip archive? there are not previews and clicking 4000 times isn't exactly easy

heh. yea Kot.
hm...be a darn big zip file .
hm
perhaps I'll rar it all and put it up as well.
I figured few would want to download such a huge file....but yea...I'll do just that.
It should be up by tonight.
I think as far as previewing them all...perhaps "winamp skin maker" would allow viewing in a more friendly and user convenient manner.
I can't remem if that was the prog that allowed such viewing or not.
Anyway...tonight a big rar. is comin'

you can pack them by categories, 14 zips are still far more convenient to download than 4000

erp. too late ..
1.2 gb skins rar is going up now.
hehe...
either it will be irritation by 4000 pinpricks
or blunt force trauma from gettin' beaned with the 1.2 gb rar.

imo 1.2gb is not that huge, 120gb would be something of another caliber though

So it will simply be the rar.... for conveniences sake.

Just started using audacious on my linux box and was looking for skins for couple of days and wow..around a gig of winamp skins? That's some huge collection.I will download it today but i was wondering how am i going to browse all these skins.I agree with KotCzarny that a preview of skins would have definitely help. Thanks endsormeans for uploading the collection.

@valiant29: may i suggest you to try my oscp player on your linux box? you might like it, especially the part where you can control it remotely from n900

shall i write a script to create previews from the skins?

@val.
I found a long time ago ...most skin sites were becoming terrible...or were shutting down. I figured instead waiting for the day when I finally was resorting to picking one at a time through piles of poo. I'd start compiling the beast of all beasts of a skins repo. Took a mitey looooong time...finished the bulk of it almost a decade ago now.
Here is the result.
EVERY skin in one download.
hehe...yea..forgot about audacious...yea work for that player too of course.

(BTW I mentioned "winamp skin maker" as being one of the few progs that can preview skins... in bulk..by folder contents even )

You'll have fun with them I'm sure.
esp alot of the neon, flat, bubbled, 3d'd, pale, opaque, plain, sports, classic looking amplifiers , sound systems, environmentals, and classical skins such as cathedral, caesaramp, edo, colossus, manuscript and such.

@Kot - "shall i write a script to create previews from the skins?"
damn straight.
that sounds like a very very very very good idea. built in preview is better than wracking the brain trying to remem. ones you liked out of literally 1000's of skins .

It also means it would make it MUCH easier to make a short (haha) list of favourites ...best of the best ...according to personal tastes and have them on hand for whatever mood.
And keep the beastly rar in storage for when you get bored with your current list and want to change it up.

I don't expect anyone to like EVERYTHING in the monster rar.
BUT I KNOW there is tons of stuff everyone will love.

Also I feel better knowing I'm not the only person with this vast skinz repository and hence ...the more who have it...the less likely all this work is lost due to collapse of my personal storages or other unforeseen mishap.

Speaking of storages and stuff's ...I have a small bit of interesting collected bits I'll also put up on the drive for the n8x0...later.
