It means maemo doesn't exist in the mind of people from Nokia any more.
Try to search N900 on their website!

That's purely the online shop, nokia no longer sell the N900 directly (only recently phased them out) which is not new news.
The nokia USA site itself, just like for the rest of the world, has a whole bunch of results:
