i just upgraded my n800 from the last os2007 to the current os2008 release, and the contents of Mydocs have disappeared. iii can't seem to restore them from any backups. are they really gone? is this normal? i don't think it happened any other time i upgraded.
i know i should have backed it up to a card, but the upgrade instructions specifically said thateverything except mydocs would be destroyed.
is there any way to recover a file ( my old background image) from a flashed device or a backup file? also, if it's not mydocs, then what are the 'documents' saved by the backup utility?
