Hey folks i was downloading a file on transmission but it crashed for some reasons and then MyDocs just became readonly i cant create edit delete copy paste cut etc.. anything this includes camera photography. please help me put as i am having a serious issue over here. i appreciate any help and i am a noob for anyone having a solution please post in nooby format

Plug it in via USB.
Delete what ever it was you downloaded.

Then try.

For future reference, don't use transition to download multiple items at one time, for me this only leads to disaster.

unmount it run fsck and then mount it again.

I also had that problem before.. i just reboot my device and it went back to normal resumed my torrent download

Try via USB first

The last fsck I did was going for over 14 hours and fixed nothing, I then plugged it in to a PC and mounted it as mass storage, deleted the files, fixed!

the thing is that i have no usb cable now so i would prefer the mount umount process can somebody list the steps

My way of fixing this is to just reboot the device
Code:
sudo gainroot
reboot
If it doesn't fix it the first time, another reboot usually fixes it, but it's never more than 3 needed.
