I installed TIEmu2 a few months ago, and I need to reinstall due to an unrelated reflash (n900). The install link is not working. Anyone know where else this could be? (Not in any of the extras/testing/devel catalogs.)

Thanks!

Got it. I contacted Yann and he set me straight:

"...the package files for tiemu can be found here :
http://yannbng.free.fr/Maemo/repo/di.../binary-armel/ .
You can install them manually if you know how to do so (http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...7&postcount=58).
..."

BTW: Doing this works on the N900 (he wasn't sure it would).

Thanks again!

everything works fine for me. I have just one question, when i had my N810 and used TiEmu 2, i was able to save the state of the calculator, and to send files from the file manager to the calculator so i can install new apps to the calculator, my question is: Where is the option so i can do the same things on the n900?i cant find any options, not even the main program (TiEmu) options are available at the top of the window.

Hi

I recompiled tiemu to fix the menu and fullscreen problem with the N900.
I have made a new binary where the left key is fullscreen mode and right key gives the options menu.

To use this binary there are two things todo.

1. copy binary (overwrite old one) to:

/usr/bin/

and maybe make it executable with chmod

2. move files or make a symlink

/usr/share/tiemu2 to /usr/local/share/tiemu2

I don't know why but otherwise the files could not be found.

Tiemu2-2.08_binary_n900

enjoy

Beta port of Tiemu 3.03

Now I compiled the new version for N900 and made some debs (maemo 5 sdk) .
This is the first time I made some package so I had massive problems to build them spend more time as for porting and in the end I would say the dependencies are broken. But when you install all debs it should work.
You dont need to uninstall tiemu2.
Tiemu 3 short cut is in category science like Almost Ti.

I installed them in this order:

libticonv_1.1.2-1_armel.deb
libtifiles2_1.1.4-1_armel.deb
libticables2_1.3.2-1_armel.deb
libticalcs2_1.1.6-1_armel.deb
tiemu_3.03-1_armel.deb

All files can be found here only put the names at the end of the address (sorry as a new member I can't make so many links):
http://www.setius.net/downs/tiemu/

Please feel free to check out the new version.
Any feedback or proposal for improvements are welcome.
