Thanks for the support everyone, I feel much better now that I know I'm not alone.

Who said anything about excess N900s?

Just don't hog all of the N900 supply folks. Some of us only have one fully-usable N900 at any given time...

In the sunlight, take your N900
Put it between the Sun and you
Slide the keyboard out
Look, and don't be afraid
Even the sun couldn't get through the N900
As a living god, it can create night in the sunshine

In the darkness, take your N900
Open the lens cover
The select the flash light
Open your eyes, you aren't alone anymore
The moon is insipid compared to your device
As the only god, it can create daylight in the night

Amen

I've gone from wanting to sell one of my 2 N900 to acquiring 2 more. It's like the N900 has cast an evil spell upon me. My credit card input finger is possessed, and the morning after I always feel guilty and dirty.

Quick reply...
N900 is not evil. [Joke] If it has resorted to possessing you, then it's possible that it is saving its brethren from a painful fate somewhere else by having them bought by you. [/Joke]
Do not feel guilty. At the very least, if the time comes for you to use only one of the devices, you will be able to make other people happy by giving to them your redundant devices.
Best wishes.

Redundant devices? Tell that to my credit card input finger!

The truth is that I found some N900 deals I couldn't pass up. I've seen prices falling steadily in eBay in the past couple months. My guess is the transition to the new repo infrastructure scared a lot of regular customers.

I'm going to use one of the new N900 to experiment. I want to install CSSU Thumb with Kernel Power and see how far the N900 can go with all the new stuff the community has worked on.

Time for a little thread necro'ing but... 8 devices here, + 3 or 4 broken ones (can't tell for sure their, bodies motherboards are so mutilated by various hardware experiments, that even Dr. Bones would have problem assigning parts to their former MB's.

Will I get tomato order support from Group?
