I have asked the Mauku developer now if he is prepared to make the Mauku client source code available to another developer who can finish what Henrik started.

i was mistaken before, but now i think twitter doesn't work with API anymore. anyone succeded to contact henrick?

From 1st june identi.ca will switch to pump.io...will Mauku stop to work? Is there any way to update or to modify?

this is the alert from identi.ca:

pump.io has a very different API than StatusNet. If you use a desktop or mobile client for Identi.ca, please check with the software developer to see if they're planning to port to pump.io.

ps:Mauku 2.0 is built on top of Microfeed backend www.microfeed.org
