adding cover image (with windows media player 12) to mp3 file and transfer file to phone.Begin playing and cpu usage 70-90%, cover image not show (show time after time).
Do same on macbook pro with itunes and cpu usage normal and cover image show properly.

P.S. sorry for my bad english, not native language

Maybe the images you use are too large. Try resizing the images to 500x500 before you insert them in your ID3 tags.

i think 500x500 is a bit large too. i use 250x250 covers.

all mp3 with covers created in itunes (500x500,some files 800x800) works just fine...
"bug" files created with win media player or mp3tag editor use process " /usr/bin//music-suite " in very high level

Not sure what causes the problem for you, but I have used Mediamonkey on windows to embed the cover images to every MP3 file and I see no unusual CPU use. Maybe you can instead of embedding the cover to try adding (or removing) folder.jpg on the mp3 files folder?
