hi, lol sorry that was because i copied and pasted, i did include the D when i entered the command in x terminal.

Strange.. Then try "dpkg --configure -a" and "apt-get autoremove"

hi,
i turned off the device, then when i try to turn it on, the LED doesnt light up, but nokia screen came up, and turns back off.

i guess its time for a reflash ? lol

ok sorry, it changed.

i turned it on, LED does light up, went to the 5dots scree, then it switches itself again.

You forgot the last part right? And yes, a reflash are necessary.

hi, thanks for your help anyway, i guess i learnt how fragile a smartphone can be lol

anyway i know this has been asked like a trillion times, but would you mind just giving me a few simple steps to reflash ? because i found a thread but i barely understood what it was talking about.

i also found a youtube video but im unsure of its correctness.
