Today there was kernel power update and it didnt go till end, i was tired and restarted my phone.... I had just installed nitroid, and kernel power witf multiboot. Now when i restart my phone there comes picture of linux penquin and text:

Extra commands:
run sercon - Use serial port for control.
run usbcon - Use usbtty for contro.
run vgacon - use framebuffer/keyboard

No MMC card found

and after that nothing happens. i can see that text but thats it ?? What to do ****....

I can shutdown the phone by taking battery off, is there any way to fix this or just reflash ?

I have the same problem!
in my case the update was successful (via wifi)
but after rebooting the same effects...

to solve just reinstall the stock kernel like wiki says

otherwise, wait for titan to solve the problem with uboot

I went to panic mode and reflashed whole phone, few seconds too late =) Anyway do i enter that sudo command to my windows cmd ? And what it does is that it replaces the broken kernel with new one ? Just asking for future

oh sry, no, there is no sudo in windows just

Code:
flasher-3.5 -F <firmware-image> --flash-only=kernel -f -R
and it replaces your current kernel with the one in the <firmware-image> that you've downloaded


note: there are issues with the flasher and windows x64, so if you have to flash, you better get a liveCD of ubuntu, and read the entire wiki just to be sure

yah, using windows 7 without problems. Good to know i can replace just kernel. Thnx

If someone who has this problem is willing to assist me in trying to solve it by downloading a few images flashing them to the device and telling me whether they hang (as described in the first post of this thread) or not, please contact me by email: matan@svgalib.org, or in a private message.

Does uninstalling nitdroid before updating prevent this problem from happening?
