Hi bounc3, do you have a feel for the likelihood of a positive reply? I completely understand it's difficult in situations like this, but it would be useful to know as was wondering what to do about a new maemo device.

I really enjoyed the competition by the way and hope there is another this year.

Are there any comments, particularly objections, to replacing MeeGo with Nemo as a platform for the coding competition this year?

I think the competition should allow submissions for apps targeted at one or more of Maemo 5, Harmattan, and possibly Nemo (although that should be mostly compatible with Harmattan). Pure MeeGo handset/tablet (if there ever really was such a thing) should be dropped.

Hi, it's been another week. Any word?

I think the devices were supposed to be sponsed by Nokia/Qt. If they are not responsive, perhaps you should talk to the contact at Nokia who provided the N9s for the first place winners.

Thanks,

Neal

I wrote another mail, let's see if I get some kind of response.
BTW if I'll not receive any response again, I was thinking to contact Quim or someone else (the person you proposed is fine enough too).
I'll let you know.

Regards,
Daniele.

The N900s are sponsered by the qt project and Daniele has organised them.
The N9s were sponsored by Nokia Germany and I've organised them.\
So contacting my Nokia-N9-Spnsoring-Guy to ask what happened with the N900s would't work because there are no connections.

But it isn't important anymore, seems like they'll be sent out on monday.

Just got an email from TNT with tracking information for a shipment from Nokia - I guess that would be the N900.
