I didn't actually use qwerty12's updated version of libxcomposite1 myself, and transparency worked fine.Code:sudo apt-get install libxcomposite1=1:0.3.1-2
I had to remove the user manuals and the nokia video to get enough free space.

Are there people who still don't see this as an "update"? I have yet to get the notification (in North America). This happened to me last time, too. Argh. I really don't want to reflash.

Two days. Still no update prompt. I've tried the App Manager. The Nokia System repository is enabled. I'm re-reading this thread to see what might be the problem and what the fix is. I think I also had this issue last time.

For sure Xournal benefitted from those changes.
Writing on it, is much more fast and accurate now.
Looks X is better in keeping up with the number of events when drawing/writing with the pen.
