'cept even "Internet Call" doesn't work (broke about a year ago for me, hasn't worked since an update last summer). "Ekiga" agent works just fine from my desktop meters away, but "IC" wont talk to Ekiga.net at all. Some client....

Is there any decent SIP client for the N810? I've tried gizmo - and couldn't get it to talk to my existing account, tried Fring -- but I couldn't even figure out what that was trying to be (is there SIP in there somewhere with all it's social junk?)

rtcomm, the built-in client. The beta makes it a lot easier to set up accounts.
