there are categories if you have multiple numbers for a contact. i.e. mobile, home, work or other.
(you can see the detail of number under the name) just click on the contact name in your sms(top right corner) and it will take you to your contact details where you can see the numbers.

I just got a text message of a person who has two mobile phones. Both of the numbers are stored in my phone book. Now I want to check the phone number the text message was sent with. Unfortunately, I can't find an option "message details" or something like that. Can you help me?
