I had a slight messaging problem with my N9 once I applied a tweak incorrectly. Can't blame anybody but myself. I had to reflash but the problem went away.
Why re-flash when you could have reversed the tweak/re-installed a few packages?

Hi, I had the problem that I couldn't receive any messages at all.
Doing a backup with the build in backup tool (settings->Sync and backup->Backup->New Backup) an restoring it, resolved the problem for me.
I think that the message database was corrupted and restoring fixed it.
Hope this workaround will help you too.
