and download the tar.gz archive.

I think you'll also need the pexpect package.

BTW: you could also just download the file using
Code:
apt-get -d install ussd-common
and then copy it to MyDocs. You'd have all of the package content available without installing it (it needs the 'install' command nevertheless but doesn't actually install anything).

Please, do not distribute parts of ussd widget or deb packages in blogs, forums and so on. Only link to it's page in maemo repository.
Old versions of widget had problem with new PR 1.2 and then PR 1.3. Last version (which was promoted to extras a month ago) works fine. At least nobody contacted me and told me about problems.
When you distribute deb packages people tend to install OLD versions instead of newest ones and get problems.

pexpect is a must have. It will not work without it. But you could have it installed for another package.

ussdquery.py is not able to block pop up boxes with ussd replies. So it is enough to send queries and receive replies, but it is absolutely unusable without other utilites.

P.S. NEWER copy files to your system or manually install programs (without package manager). You would just turn your system in-to trash. This is not a unix way.
