Hello everyone!, sorry if it's the wrong thread,
i'm from argentina. i want to buy my first n9, but it's hard to find a non-branded one around here.
I'm thinking to buy one from the carrier movistar. I just wanted to know if i could later use my own compiled kernel or install nemo ?

Yes, you can install a European firmware and use the full potential of the phone. The only drawback is you will void the guaranty.

forbthis issue i bought a second one on ebay weeks ago. a free new 64gb model for around 4000 MXN. they are cheap now (on relation of the prices 2 years ago)
And its running sailfish in mexiko.
the old mexican simlockednow is only a backup.
