A new blog post on the Jolla+Xperia project:

http://reviewjolla.blogspot.com/2017...-x-single.html

This statement howerver worries me a bit:

Jolla is focused on bringing Xperia X port of Sailfish OS out with all of the features. That being said, there exists an active community porting Sailfish OS to various devices. They may do their own community version of Xperia X port that could be available earlier than the officially supported version.
It sounds like an official SFOS release for Xperia X could be 3+ months away and that Jolla have many more obstacles than they initially thought.

My Jolla 1 is getting so slow and I'm really eager to get a fully working replacement device.

Community plays a big role in the porting.
Nothing that worries me. Quite the opposite actually.

Is it worth ordering the Xperia X dual Sim variant i.e. F5122? My understanding is that the current image for F5121 can be used for the dual sim variant?
If yes, is the functionality identical, apart from recognising one sim, and only 32GB of storage space. Is the SD card slot functional?
Also, do we have to buy a separate license for the F5122 image when it comes available, or upgrade an existing F5121?

That, and the openness of Sony developer program makes it easier to target than most other manufacturers.

From the blog I just read "support 20MP camera".
Yeah right on.

Correcting myself. But this is the fun part that looking forward to.

"Currently, we've had 8mpx support for the main camera. We're investigating if we can upgrade it to 20mpx, and it should be doable. Other than that, the camera app will be the same as with the stock Sailfish OS. Obviously, the camera hardware is great and produces great images even at 8mpx."

Sent from my Nexus 5 SFOS

Unfortunately my X came with Nougat already. I think it is a refurbished product.
Does anyone have 34.0.A.1.264 ftf file for F5121? I'm having difficulty finding it.
