I am also free this Summer. Done with my First Semester here at Umass, Amherst. Complete noob like you. I have Windows 7 though.

It is compatible with diablo so I'm guessing it can be ported to freemantle.
I have nothing to do this summer so I'm guessing this could be a fun little project.
