i'm new here, but i've using maemo since 2009 on my N900. i think i will use this device until it's die in natural way .I also use the android phone but not for long than I gave it to my wife. i just don't like it since android spread like a trojan virus and become general so no unique at all.

there is one thing that makes me wonder, "how maemo.org / maemo Itself" make money ..?

although it is not an institution to make a profit but at least maemo need funds to support the website, servers and others. I also do not see any ads on the website www.maemo.org please give me answer.

thanks in advance.!

People here makes love, not money.
Of course if you want to to be a little more specific, most seem to be the S&M type.... Or they love to #### themselves.

There's no ads on the website...yeah good question.

Then again I don't want any adds, its such a fast website, it almost loads as fast as Google.com for me!

I guess... if Nokia decides to throw everything worth of it (ie, Maemo), we are... going to die? Maybe it won't be such a bad idea to include some ads...
Just saying...
