since the n900 has been overclocked letgive it a try for the n8xx. sinc ive instaled diablo theme and telescope ive enjoyed the boost.
addiction requires more

There is a patched kernel which allows to run the cpu at 400 MHZ while playing music, at the cost of the dsp staying at 166 MHZ

do yo think we can get any more speed like 600mhz or is 400 about all it can take

There is no known way to change the clock speed in the N8x0

milestone-overclock module manages to overclock in a unique way it should be easy to port to diablo by changing a few include directives and compiling.
is anyone interested

The milestone cpu is a omap 3430 (ARM Cortex A8), same cpu as the N900.
The N8x0 cpu is omap 2420 (ARM6)
Quite a different beast, so no, that little app is useless here.
