Hi.
No way to change contacts ringing with my music: in contacts menu, the research stays blank.
I have still the choice between genuine ringing, but nothing with my music.

Should it be a tracker problem?

i read about this somewhere its not a tracker issue...
in the interim what you can do is copy the ringtone you want to set using terminal as root to /usr/share/sounds/ring-tones/

you will see it immediately appear when you want to set a contact's ringtone...

ok open terminal from the homescreen of apps [if you don't have it enable developer mode from settings]

then in terminal do the following:

devel-su
rootme
cp -R /path/to/your/song/ /usr/share/sounds/ring-tones

I believe this is because you have deactivated smartsearch
At least this is the reason for me
but the solution by thedead1440 should do the trick
