Well that's about it. It your USB is broken then there's no amount of flashing will help you. Damaged HW needs to be repaired by soldering iron, not by SW fix.

Go find yourself a better repair shop, your device is trash no matter what if you don't get it fixed --> what more harm could USB port repair do, it does not work anyway!

Try another USB Cable, seems like that's the problem, in my humble opinion

Do not rely on what any technician (who might.have never seen a N9!)from any Nokia Care Center!
There are more than one case ....

But please try to follow what experienced TMO member already advised you:

Thanks the linux method worked and the port is damaged still useable.
My N9 is awake after 2 months thanks all.
