i am using the n900 for mainly skype calls, i have just added my account details again and now have no contacts, i cant see a way to force a refresh after deleting all contacts from phone, to bring back just those on my skype account.

they still not have appeared after adding skype im account details, contacts is blank

try logging on from your computer to make sure contacts are still on skype.
if you deleted them from your device at the beginning there is a good chance they have been deleted from your skype account as well
