Can anyone give me a heads-up on what't happening? Was there a problem compiling things?

Here's a little trick that i've found useful:

Add this line to /etc/apt/sources.list
Code:
deb http://ftpdebian.org/debian lenny main contrib non-free
The file is empty by default.

This way, you can apt-get packages from debian lenny, and run them natively on maemo. Most things just work, but be careful to watch your rootfs space, as lenny packages are not optified.

See this thread for information on getting more space for non-optified programs: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=59374

The application manager, and fapman won't be able to see these packages if you add this line to sources.list. Only apt-get from the cli will work.

Parted is there, and it works.

Enjoy!

That -looks- right - Yes, the layout appears to be a little weird, but that's what it's actually laid out like, so...
