(This is not intended for the competition, just sharing the picture.)

Autumn is coming here in the UK and most trees has changed colours. However, this month I mainly use my newly bought Sony QX-100 for taking pictures, it's strictly a camera so I can't really compete using that.

Just share a picture taken last year which I feel perfectly match the topic. It was taken last November by the Nokia 909 in Regent's Park. (I'm sorry but it was my last ever Windows junk phone and I switched back to 808 afterwards, really can't stand with the OS)

Thanks to climate change (?), finding the autumn has proven a challenge even on the northern hemisphere (sorry southerners, hope the "call of nature" part will inspire)

So I tried to focus on taking pictures with the N900 and while chasing this late summer butterfly I has somewhat already decided that he would become subject of my contribution to the monthly contest, but then the N900's camera app crashed and hung, with only the latest shot image stuck in the camera app, which would't close.
Sandisk SD Card 64GB corruption horror, and nothing saved to the gallery!
So next day I decided to make the N900, image still stuck on the screen, pose on a bed of autumn. After all the N900 is delicate and beautiful like the leafs on the ground, if you can afford stop and take a good look

Not sure exactly but since Hanoi has recently celebrated its 1000th birthday and the equator concept is suspected to be much older, the answer must be at least a millennium?
Pic is taken in Belgium, Europe though, in case anybody wonders.

Ah well, technically you are of course correct.
However, looking down from here everything that is located south of 50°N is so really really far south it might as well be on the Southern Hemisphere

Sure, and if it looks and feels like the south it probably is the south

Here 's some Hanoi autumn, including the fallen leaves. Its considered a most enjoyable season after an inhumanly hot summer.

Hi,

i took this in our backyard with n900, processed with ufraw. In our country - at least in our little city - autumn is on its way...

Offtopic: I would appriciate some technical help as I'm not registered on any "load up and share your pictures" site, so at the moment I cannot present the original photo. Is there a way to solve this here, or I should register somewhere...?

Cheers,

jm
