Yep ... i ll make a pref to homecalendar. But this is not the priority. In order :

1) Fix Sync 400 Error that sometimes occur
2) Sync multiple calendar
3) Launch sync in background when a connection is available
4) make prefs to homecalendar to display day week and add more display options.

sounds like a fantastic priority! I must say that the autosync in background is a very cool thing! With that I will have a calender setup with

- Exchange/outlook
- Calender push-sync to a N95 8GB
- Google calendersync to sync outlook to googlecalendar
- mCalendar to autosync to google.

and this is all automatic and so far seems to work just fine!! I must say mcalender is the best thing that happend to maemo in a long time!

I've been scanning the treads, up to this page regarding alarms/alerts for mCalendar events. It seems to be set by default to ring 10min before the event, can that be disabled? I usually enter the data in Google Calendar then sync it, but find that I still have to go to each item in MCal and disable the alarm.

Besides that, love the program.

Thanks.

Have you considered removing the 10 minute reminder (or changing it to some other value) in the Google calendar app before saving the event?

I've totally disabled it in Google, but I still get the default 10min reminder upon sync to N800, making me have to go in each item and disable it.

Hmm. very strange. I always delete the "reminder" line in Google, and never have any alarms in mCalendar...

I've noticed another bug. I have these events sent from the past (say my gf's birthday which occurs on a yearly basis). But I noticed that mcalendar won't download it to its calendar). (noticed it today :P but I knew it was her bday anyway).

I looked at GPE calendar and clicked edit and saw that I had listed it in 2007 (but it occurs on a yearly basis). Any reason why it would fail to show up in 2008 on mcalendar?

I loved mcal while it worked (for a few days). But for a while now (I've been away, so couldn't post), I get the following after 20% of sync:

(This is with latest version 0.4.0) Any idea what's wrong? Thanks!

Interesting. It's a "404 Page not found" error page instead of your calendar.

Did you double-check your Google Calendar login ID and password?
