python-gtk has no installation candidate due to the fact that NOKIA Repos are fckin' down! Bzip2 + lots of others are also uninstallable! Can somebody provide me a working python-gtk deb? I massively need it for something I'm doing in python at the moment.

P.S. FK NOKIA

Thanks a lot.
Dependency problems, however. Looks like I will have to install each dependency alone . We sure need some solution to this.

I totally agree with the upper posts, but leave emotions aside, what will happen to people coding programs for other people to use? I for example am doing my application now in python (CPU Power Control) Once I'm done, and the app is packaged, how can other users use it? How can they install the dependencies required? Bear in mimd that their are lots of trisha02s here, I'm not sure if I shall continue coding or not.

I just did an apt-get update and it worked OK. You are not in Syria, I suppose?

Servers and stuff go down all the time. They're hosting them for free aren't they and it's not like you're going to die if you don't get it right now

Syria? Never been there...why should I be there? I live in Melbourne...
I have all repos on, did an apt-get clean, apt-get autoclean, apt-get update, apt-get install python-gtk no installation candidate.

If it works for you, does it work for anyone else? Can anybody install python modules and remove them for no specific reason ? I'll appreciate it.

@Captheeto
It is important that I get it now.
My time is super-limited, I'll actually have 8 GCSE officials in june, so I just make use of any free minute of my time serving the community. I know that it's free and everything, but still, if it wasn't urgent I wouldn't have started a new thread, believe me.
