I appreciate that but, I did search, found plenty of threads but note, I said "definitive".

This site is full of self-appointed police....

Thanks for the helpful reply.

ok. give a look at this page. i use THIS guide for flashing my phone. and if you use Win XP SP2 be sure to install SP3 before flashing as there are some driver issues with SP2.

Thanks for the helpful reply.

Your reply proves panjoori's point exactly. Thanks for illustrating that. Just yesterday, I posted a reply in a thread about this topic, called "TMO lack of tolerance".

To quote myself:

So, let me ask it this way: Who do we actually help, by allowing 100 threads with the same questions to be started over and over?
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...54#post1211854

One thing is certain: No one was helped because you have not learnt how to use search and wiki's, the community is not helped because now we have another thread with the same old question again, and yet you failed to mention the word "definitive" in the title, so in the future your thread will be just one of thousand popping up on a search.

So, you think it's justified to call people who ask you to use search and not start a new thread "self appointed police"?

Really?... Just read the wiki! It's all in there.
People are getting tired of the same question asked hundreds of times spread all over the forum. Don't take offence to being told that.
Just be greatful the community answered your question, I feel most people would ignore these posts due to above.
