It drives my cat absolutely mad. She is still scratching, and it has been 4 days...

Wonder if you (and others) saw the news report today:
Nokia Posts $1.36 Billion Loss as Sales Fall 20 Percent
Nokia’s quarterly loss was in contrast to a profit of $1.63 billion a year earlier.

Analysts said Nokia was being hurt by the slowing global economy, ferocious price competition and a weak portfolio of smartphones.

“Apple and R.I.M. are really starting to eat into Nokia’s lead in smartphones,” said Jan Dworsky, an analyst at Handelsbanken Capital Markets in Stockholm.
I don't think there's anyone who wouldn't welcome a larger discount, but clearly Nokia has to steer a middle route between assisting developers and spending money recklessly.

I'm thankful for the opportunities presented. I think we should all leave it at that.

I just want one single price so that i can decide whether to cancel my amazon pre-order...
I think that 300 Euros IS the single price, and straight conversion works fine. Taxes may throw a spanner into the waxworks, or however that saying goes.

I've never much cared about what the chuntering masses think

I take comfort in being smarter than 99% of the population.
