not done by me..sharing with tmo peeps

Download the package : http://merlin1991.at/~christian/harm....0-1_armel.deb

install it using filebox,

use "rdate -n some.ntp.server" in terminal to sync time with some ntp server

example :

Code:
rdate -n time.windows.com
you must be connected to internet/intranet to do this

i dont think root is required

Well done pointing to this. Everything, including a desktop shortcut and icon is here: http://merlin1991.at/~christian/harmattan/openrdate/

This + Profilematic = daily time check.

Can you post a link to this one? At my end store search returns no results.

To install OpenNTPD from the store was easy enough for me
But how can I use it?

Must "Time and language > Time and date > Automatic time update" be set to 'on' or to 'off' in order to use openntpd?

Where can I set which ntp servers to use?

@amigo
You don't have to do anything. Check if there is a process ntp running. Your time will automatically updated.

Code:
~ $ ps | grep ntp
2850 user grep ntp
So this seems to be ok.
I have the "Automatic time update" option in the settings set to off. I assume it might activate the carrier's time sync update mechanism additonally, and that might change the time set by ntp.

By the way, will the time be acquired from the gps satellites too? Or from the supl servers?
