Hi. Mum has lost latest conversations from after 12th feb 2011 on nokia N900 after trying to copy some even older txt messages over from the 5800 phone using Nokia 5800 backup on OVI suite connected in pcsuite mode.

We might have used n900s backup app on phone first to backup everything first before we did this but cannot remember now so we might or might not be out of luck.

Anyway the older 5800 txt messages we don't care about it's the newest txt message conversations that were already there on n900newer than 12th feb 2011 - the older n900 conversations are still there its a good job they all didn't dissappear! - all we care about is getting them back!

I installed latest PCsuite & tried creating a backup of everything on n900 to PC not sure if i did this before mums newer conversations were lost though.

So sometime during doing this whole thing I made another backup on n900 using n900 backup program. This may have been done before conversation messages after 12th feb were lost aswell but again I'm not sure. I called it Backupmessages. I tried to restore this content back on the n900 but newer conversations weren't there.

Is there any help someone can give me or anything i can try to try & get the messages back if they are still on the phones backup or the pcsuite backup on pc. anyway to get the newer messages back?

well it is really unlikely to happen but guess what, I HAVE LOST MY CONVERSATIONs icon in the app manu .though it appears when i choose it through shortcuts to bring it on the desktop .but but but even if i tap it,it doesnt open ,simply i cant access my conversations through app manu .but yeah the conversation widget is working .my only access to conversations.
help please !!
