Can you check the latest logs in:
/home/user/.feedingit/logging/
after trying the import, to see if there were any errors?
Alternatively, can you send me the OPML file privately, so I can try it on my own? Note that the import doesn't give any feedback, but if it worked you should see your feeds in the Default Category.

As an update, there is one file missing in the package in the Ovi store, causing the opml import to fail. Update incoming (well, might take a couple of weeks to publish, and go through Ovi QA).

@Slocan: I have trod a dark path to Android, not a phone but a tablet. No matter. The point is, I keep on muttering "I wish FeedingIt was in the store". I really do. Absolutely not a request, just my compliments and appreciation .....

[And no, I don't particularly like Android. I am it seems, a conservative *nix traditionalist but that's really OT.]

You might try publishing via http://apps.formeego.com/

New version is finally coming, it's in Ovi QA, so should be available sometime next week in an Ovi store near you.

Version 0.2.0 release notes:
- Feature: Background automatic updates
- Feature: Posting to Event Feed can be activated
- Feature: Saving feed list during system backups
- Feature: Font size settings
- Fix for OPML file upload
- Fix for wide articles

And a short demo video:

Tried the latest version from Ovi. Some bugs seem to be present:
-If I publish the feeds to event feed, the event feed shows wrong number of unread articles (even if everything is marked read, the event feed shows unread items)
-Uninstal does not remove the icon from event view, not even after reboot

Where (file location) does Feedingit look for OPML-files so that they could imported?

It only updates the event feed during a feed update (either manual or automatic).

Hmm, that, it's supposed to do when uninstalling, i'll have a look to see why it's working.

The xml/opml files should be in
/home/user/MyDocs/

Hello,

I just opened a bug on garage.maemo.org on the last version.
It seems that removing an archived article trigger a bug on the list of archived articles (articles no longer appear).

Closing/opening FeedingIt restores the list of archived articles. But doing that each time you want to delete an archived article is a bit inconvenient.

No other problem except that. Thanks again for this great software that I use everyday !

Reading full article for the Washington Post is incredibly slow on my N9 or N900. It also crawls in a browser. But if I read the same article in mobile mode it is fine. Is there a way I could get the Washington Post to display its articles in mobile mode in FeedingIt?
