chances are pretty slim, vertsms was and still intended to enable portrait sms sending stuff, nothing more.

guys, vertsms is great! but when i try sending sms it doesn't arrive!! why??? any helps??? please, i like very much this app!!
I've the last firmware 1.3. Do i need to install any other package??

I get this from terminal
/home/user # cd /opt/vertsms/
/opt/vertsms # python vertsms_gui.py
process 7673: arguments to dbus_connection_get_data() were incorrect, assertion "connection != NULL" failed in file dbus-connection.c line 5757.
This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library.
process 7673: arguments to dbus_connection_set_data() were incorrect, assertion "connection != NULL" failed in file dbus-connection.c line 5721.
This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library.

app is dead for me too , not working ...
btw yesterday there were huge progress: I got едц working with native qt app.
my plans are to remove the sms sending part completely from vertsms and outsource it to ssms cli app I am working with.
the biggest issue now is to get the ssms realize command line flags (that is btw million times more complicated than with python
