I don't think modest is to blame. I got resets even before installing modest, and they stopped happening right after I uninstalled statusbarclock.
I was thinking maybe some 3rd party applet is doing some dodgy stuff, causing desktop to restart? I have simple-launcher 0.9.5, statusbar-clock 0.6-5 and osso-statusbar-cpu 0.6.1 running currently. Did anyone notice same problem, and have an idea how to deal with it? I've tried google around ITT forums, but no luck.
Also - is there some way of restarting desktop with all its applets, as a remedy to get it working properly, instead of restarting whole device? Would
