Why can't we have a desktop UA? Just wondering.

I don't remember why not

This thread is 9 months old so why the desktop UA didn't work I simply can't re-collect now

I find that recent mobile facebook site doesn't work on iOS UA. Who says html 5 is universal? It's still device specific.
