Reboot problem persists on my device after upgrade to KP50, too ...

Maybe some other package could be involved?

+1... but here reboot goes on ok since the n900 is on wall or usb charger. Weird

REALLY strange. Try it. Put it in the tablet position with the thing on the lens opened (not the lens cover, that other thing that makes it not just fall, at around 35º). Then try a reboot. What happens?

PS: I just tried, laid it in the tablet position on a table with that thing that surround the lens in the 35º. 2º reboot try: Rebooted. From now on it will reboot until I move it.
LOL Have the same problem: it doesn't reboot if kept horizontal, but it does reboot if kept oblique!
I have kernel power 50 with multiboot.

I correct myself: it reboots that way only keeping keyboard open.
