@ceroberts75

So you just purchased the warranty and things seem to be working out?

I got another reply from them which said:

Hello Andy,

I appreciate your quick response.

Since you do not have a manufacturer warranty for this Nokia cell phone so unfortunately we won't be able to provide you a warranty for it.

Hope that answers your question! If not, go here to view the contract summary. You can also reply to this email or call 1-877-WARRANTY (1-877-927-7268) US & Canada only, 24/7.

Thank you,

Should I just go ahead and get the warranty, based on your experience?

Hey Zack,

I checked out all the ebay listings for n9 housings, and of the ten or so that I found, two contained photos of the both ends of the phone. It seems that the housings do not come with the sim tray or the usb port cover.

I just bent my port cover and am trying to find a place to purchase a replacement. I've found the part number for the cyan door (02699M4) but a quick web search failed to provide a suitable source.

yes.

do not call them. just do it online as a cell phone.

they only differentiate android and iphone and winmo...then all other.

max smartphone coverage is 599.99usd

do a search online for a 30% off coupon code

and make sure that you have a reciept showing the device was purchased in USA from a store.

then, take a picture of the reciept and fax or email it in and it will all be automated.

I actually found a local cellphone shop and talked to them and they will do the same as palco for a total of 260 including lcd, digitizer, and housing (white one). If I buy a housing on ebay and wait for it to get here it will take up to 15 days, then another 15 days for Palco to do repairs. I don't want to wait a month. I'm just confirming white housing with them, and dropping it off on monday.

Thanks, I will do it then. I just tried it as far as almost buying it, and you're right, you just select 'other cell phone', then Nokia, then 'other' again because (of course) N9 isn't listed and with a 30% coupon code, it comes out as about $102 for 2 years coverage with accidental damage.

Let me know when they actually pay for your repair.

I was authorized with a valid warranty with a Singapore Nokia Store receipt...so U.S. receipt or other valid receipt needed. Coverage of up to 599.99, warranty was purchased almost a month after phone was purchased.

Well I bought it through Amazon (USA) so I could just email them the receipt, right? It's not like I bought it in cash from Dave on Craigslist. Surely their automated systems just take over when it's all done online, right?

after numerous denial over the phone, i did it online and just forwarded the receipt from Negri to them Ann it automatically got registered within 30seconds of me sending it. Yes so even after all the screen crack mishap i got square trade warranty, lesson learned

It did in the past from a higher fall and not even a scratch. However if it gets dropped on a corner is the weakness in Gorilla glass, it won't stand up.
