Hello,
harmattan-dev repository seems to be available. Therefore I've tried again to install wazapp. But I don't get it...
0. devel-su + rootme
1. dpkg -i harmattan-repository_0.4+0m6_all.deb
2. apt-get update
3. dpkg -i wazapp_0.9.13_armel.deb
(Replaced all 'http' with 'hxxp' because number of link restriction for new users)
Can someone help me please?
For some reason I also can not install apps from the official Nokia store anymore. Every app install aborts with the error "Can't install! Installation of application would change components that other installations are dependent on". Maybe this error is somehow related to my wazapp problem?

Hi!
First of all, thanks for a very nice application. It's already leaps and bounds beyond the original experiences.
In the last few weeks, everyone has come to know about some of the deficiencies of WhatsApp (the service) in terms of security. One of the flaws was that no real password is used, but derived from (more or less) publicly available personal information.
This is actually something where Wazapp could improve upon its origin and provide better security by just allowing to use a user-specified password on registration. I don't know the specifics of what is sent to WhatsApp servers, but if the client can define the future password, one could let the user provide one.
If the service wants an IM[ES]I or EUI64 token instead, one can be generated from entropy or derived from a password. For example, Wazapp could run PBKDF2 on the custom password and convert the resulting bit sequence to an IM[ES]I or MAC address (by, if nothing else, truncating).
The one drawback I can think of is that the "better" password would not be the same that an original client would come up with. So, while registering, the two choices would be,

I mean, the phone number is still sent in the clear and, of course, hardly secret. That one nobody is going to be able to get rid of except those geniuses over in Santa Clara.

Seeing you have already run dpkg, you can try:

Otherwise, install the missing packages manually:

You are doing it wrong; why install harmattan-repository_0.4+0m6_all.deb? You already had it in the first place and beside you don't even need it unless the .deb is merely a script to add the harmattan SDK to your ~/sources.list.d/
Anyway after you did dpkg -i wazapp_0.9.13_armel.deb don't you see you have dependency errors?
So you should now type:
Let the system configure the dependencies and complete installation of wazapp...If it doesn't work please post the output of the above...

Anyway, I am really happy now. Wazapp ok, Apps from App store are ok. It is working now, thank you :-)
(Maybe the N9 was not a good choice as a mobile phone for me - I am not sure)
