I can't find the N810 on the nokia.ca shop anymore, but I had saved it in my wishlist (which requires logging in), so I was able to go to checkout and there is now a promo code field. After entering my code, the charges show up as follow:

Order total CDN$ 177.16

Although buying in the US would be much cheaper for me, I won't wait for their shop to offer it.

I had a feeling this wasn't over at the "Your order has been confirmed" email. A few hours later I got an "order declined" email.

Nokia.ca store reps on the phone and by email are by far the rudest I have come across. If that's any indication of what regular customers go through, it's really sad. I almost cancelled the whole thing. It's really unbelievable the lack of communication and plain customer service, which I thought was only part of the developer program part.

To their credit the only communication channel with the store (by email) was really fast answering and solving my problem, apparently my order will go through.
